    Good Stability And Strong Overload Capacity Ceramic PTC Thermistor For LED Over-Current Protection

    Thermistor is a sensitive component developed early, with many types and mature development. Thermistors are composed of semiconducting ceramic materials and utilize the principle that temperature causes a change in resistance. When the temperature is lower than Tc, the negative charge at the grain boundary is partially offset by the polarization charge, so that the barrier height is greatly reduced, and the grain boundary is in a low-resistance state; when the temperature is higher than Tc, the spontaneous polarization disappears, and the negative charge at the grain boundary cannot It is obtained that the polarization charge barrier is at a high level, and the grain boundary is in a high-resistance state. The overall resistance of the material rises sharply.

    Application

    It's applicable to various types of fluorescent lamp, electronic ballast and electronic energy-saving lamp. The PTC can be connected across the lamp resonator without changing the circuits. It can change hard start of the ballast and electronic energy-saving lamp to preheated start and the preheating time of the filament can come up to 0.4-2 seconds, which will extend the service life of the fluorescent tube by over 4 times.



    The characteristics of PTC thermistor are:
