    Quick Reaction Time Ceramic PTC Type Thermistor For LED Over-Current Protection

    The thermistor has high sensitivity, wide operating temperature range, small size, easy to use, easy to process into complex shapes, good stability, and strong overload capacity. In the application, it can not only measure temperature as a measuring element, but also control temperature and circuit compensation element as a control element. PTC thermistor is a thermistor with positive temperature coefficient, which belongs to semiconductor linear element and is sensitive to temperature. The resistance value is proportional to the temperature change. The resistance-temperature characteristic means that under the specified voltage and within a certain temperature range, the zero-power resistance value of the PTC thermistor is related to the temperature of the resistor itself, that is, the resistance value of the PTC thermistor increases as the temperature increases.

    Application

    It's applicable to various types of fluorescent lamp, electronic ballast and electronic energy-saving lamp. The PTC can be connected across the lamp resonator without changing the circuits. It can change hard start of the ballast and electronic energy-saving lamp to preheated start and the preheating time of the filament can come up to 0.4-2 seconds, which will extend the service life of the fluorescent tube by over 4 times.



    Main feature

    1. High sensitivity, its temperature coefficient of resistance is 10 to 100 times larger than that of metal, and can detect temperature changes of 10-6°C;

    2. The working temperature range is wide, the normal temperature device is suitable for - 55 ℃ ~ 315 ℃, the high temperature device is suitable for a temperature higher than 315 ℃ (currently the highest can reach 2000 ℃), and the low temperature device is suitable for - 273 ℃ ~ 55 ℃;
    3. Small in size, it can measure the temperature of gaps, cavities and blood vessels in organisms that cannot be measured by other thermometers;
    4. It is easy to use, and the resistance value can be arbitrarily selected between 0.1 ~ 100kΩ;
    5. It is easy to process into complex shapes and can be mass-produced;
    6. Good stability and strong overload capacity.
